Terms and Conditions
On Par — golf coaching app Last updated: 12 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and On Par Software LTD ("On Par", "we", "us"), registered in England and Wales number 17417297, registered office 24 Birch Grove, Cobham, United Kingdom, KT11 2HR.
By creating an account or using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use On Par.
1. What On Par is - and what it is not

On Par is software that connects golf coaches with their players. It handles booking, lesson notes, drills, swing video, messaging and payment.

The coaching itself is provided by the coach, not by On Par. We are not a party to the agreement between a coach and a player. We do not employ coaches, we do not supervise lessons, and we do not verify any coach's qualifications, insurance or professional standing. Coaches are independent. If a lesson is not what you expected, that is between you and your coach — though we would still like to hear about it.

2. Your Account
Â
You must be 16 or over to hold an account in your own name. Junior players may use On Par through an account set up and overseen by a parent, guardian or their coach.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Give us accurate details and keep them current. Do not share your sign-in.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used to harm someone, or is used fraudulently.

3. Booking a lesson

Booking on On Par is instant. There is no request-and-accept step: if a slot is offered, booking it confirms it.
Â
Lessons are paid for with lesson credits, bought in advance as a package from your coach.
-
Confirming a booking uses one credit immediately.
-
If you have no credits, the app will take you to buy some before you can book.
-
A recurring series uses one credit for each lesson actually created. Dates that clash with something already in the diary are skipped and cost nothing. If you do not have enough credits to cover every valid date in the series, the whole series is refused rather than partly booked.

4. CancellingÂ

Each coach sets their own cancellation window. The window that applies to a booking is the one in force when the booking was made, and it is shown to you at the time.
-
A coach cancels — the credit always goes back to the player.
-
A player cancels before the cancellation deadline — the credit goes back.
-
A player cancels after the deadline — the lesson is cancelled but the credit is not returned. Your coach has held that time for you.
-
After a lesson has started a player cannot cancel it in the app.
Marking a lesson as attended or missed never moves credits either way.

5. Money

Lessons
Lesson packages are sold by your coach. Payment goes directly to the coach's own Stripe account. On Par takes no fee on lessons. The coach bears the payment processing fees.
Refunds on a lesson package are at your coach's discretion and are issued by them. When a refund is made, the corresponding credits are removed.

Swing reviews
Swing review credits and monthly review plans carry an On Par platform fee of 10%, taken at the point of payment. The rest goes to the coach.

Subscriptions
Player+ and Coach Pro are optional subscriptions. They are billed by Apple or Google, not by us.
Player+ comes two ways:
-
Monthly — £7.99 a month. No free trial.
-
Annual — £71.99 a year, charged once a year. This one starts with a 14-day free trial.
Coach Pro is £19.99 a month. There is no free trial, because Coach Free already lets a coach work with up to 10 players for nothing. Try it there.

The Player+ free trial
The 14-day free trial is available on the annual plan only.
It becomes a paid subscription automatically. At the end of the 14 days you will be charged £71.99 for the year unless you cancel before the trial ends. Nobody will remind you, so if you do not want to continue, cancel before the last day.

Cancelling during the trial costs nothing. You keep Player+ until the trial's final day and are not charged. If you change your mind before that day you can simply resubscribe and the trial carries on.

One trial per person. Apple allows a single introductory offer per person per subscription group, and Google applies a similar rule. Starting the trial uses yours up, even if you cancel a day later. If you take the trial, cancel, and subscribe again afterwards, you will be charged straight away with no second trial. If the app does not show you a trial, this is usually why.

Cancelling and refunds
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel through your App Store or Google Play account — that is the only way to stop a renewal. Deleting the app does not cancel anything and you will keep being charged.
Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. You keep Player+ or Coach Pro until then.
Refunds for subscriptions are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, not by us. We cannot issue or refuse them.

Subscription prices in your country
The prices above are the UK ones. Apple and Google set the equivalent in other currencies, so what you pay may differ. The exact price and billing period are always shown before you confirm, on the store's own payment screen.
If we change a subscription price, it will not affect a period you have already paid for, and the stores will tell you before any renewal at a new price.
Buying swing review credits does not grant Player+, and Player+ does not include swing reviews. They are separate things.

Coach lesson and review prices
Coaches set their own lesson and review prices and can change them. A change never affects a booking already made or credits already bought.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you put into On Par — videos, notes, messages, photos.
You grant us a licence to store, process and display that content for the purpose of running the service: showing it to the coach or player it is meant for, generating thumbnails, and producing AI summaries and reviews as described in the Privacy Policy. The licence lasts as long as we hold the content and exists only so the app can work.

Coaches: session notes you write about a player, and anything you share with them, will be visible to that player. Your private note is never shown to the player and is never sent to the AI writing assistant.
Do not upload anything you do not have the right to upload, and do not record anyone who has not agreed to be recorded.

Coaches adding or importing players. You can add players by hand or import your existing client list from other software. When you do, you confirm that those are your own clients, that you are entitled to share their details with us, and that you have told them — or will tell them — that you use On Par to manage your coaching. For those details you are the data controller and we process them for you; you remain responsible for them.

You can ask us to send each imported player one invitation email. It says you have set up an account for them and how to open it. Use it for people who are expecting to hear from you. It is not a mailing list: we send it once, we do not chase it, and we may decline to send invitations from an account that generates complaints or bounces.

7. AI features

On Par uses AI to transcribe dictated notes, to rewrite a coach's draft note more clearly, to produce swing reviews and practice guidance, and to summarise a player's history for their coach before a lesson.

AI output is a drafting aid and general guidance. It is not professional coaching advice, and it is not medical, fitness or injury advice. A coach reviews and can edit anything AI produces before a player sees it. Treat AI suggestions with the same judgement you would apply to anything else you read.

Do not rely on On Par for anything concerning your health. If something hurts, see a doctor or a physiotherapist.

8. Acceptable use

Do not:
-
harass, abuse or threaten anyone through the app
-
upload anything unlawful, obscene, or that infringes someone's rights
-
record or share footage of someone without their agreement
-
try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service
-
use the app to arrange payment off-platform in order to avoid fees
-
impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your qualifications as a coach

We may remove content and suspend accounts that breach this.

9. Availability

We try to keep On Par running and accurate, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw features. Where a change is significant we will give you reasonable notice.
On Par depends on services we do not control — app stores, payment processing, push notification delivery and network connectivity. We are not responsible for their failures.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows:
-
We are not liable for the conduct, quality, safety or legality of any coaching delivered by a coach, nor for any injury arising from following coaching or AI guidance.
-
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost business or lost data.
-
Our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of £100 or the total fees On Par itself received from you in that period. Note that On Par takes no fee on lessons, so for most people this will be the amounts paid for subscriptions or swing review fees only.
If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights that these terms do not affect.

11. Ending it

You can stop using On Par at any time and delete your account in the app: More → Delete account. What is deleted and what is retained is set out in the Privacy Policy.

We may end your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms.
Credits you have already bought remain a matter between you and your coach.

12. Updates

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and we will tell you in the app if the change is significant. Continuing to use On Par after a change means you accept it.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you may bring proceedings in your own courts.
